Corporate leadership training, while well-intentioned, often creates a passive experience for participants.  Try as they might to make the training "interactive," these trainers approach the task as an expert transferring knowledge and information to the attendees.  Some people engage enthusiastically, asking a lot of questions, while others hang back, absorbing only what interests them.  Still others pretend to be present and secretly wish they were doing something more productive, like their job.
